CHALLENGE
- Multilingual Translation Services: FSSAI required translation services from English to Hindi and in other Indian Languages to support various Projects undertaken by FSSAI. The Website / Web portal development involved multilingual capabilities along with translation services including editing, proof reading, subtitling, captioning and subsequent feeding in Unicode.
Information in Indian Languages: FSSAI had a challenge to ensure that the critical food safety related information, policies, rules and regulations reaches the masses and hence the information dissemination is needed in Indian Languages besides English.
High Accuracy of Translation: The quality required by FSSAI of translated content was of prime consideration; and was needed upwards of 95%. The translated content was expected to have no spelling, grammar or punctuation mistakes and that the words and style chosen should be appropriate. - Information in Indian Languages: FSSAI had a challenge to ensure that the critical food safety related information, policies, rules and regulations reaches the masses and hence the information dissemination is needed in Indian Languages besides English.
